Am I just start to realize how expensive owning dogs actually is?Let’s look at the dog insurance: Dog insurance costs can vary widely depending on several factors, such as dog’s age, breed, location, and the type of coverage you choose. On average, pet insurance for dogs in the United States ranges from about $30 to $70 per month for a standard accident and illness plan. (I can personally say it’s lot more). For a more basic accident-only plan, you might pay as little as $15 to $35 per month, while comprehensive plans with higher coverage limits or wellness add-ons can push costs closer to $100 or more per month.Younger dogs generally have lower premiums because they’re less likely to have pre-existing conditions or age-related health issues. The location matters as well; urban areas with pricier vet services can drive up premiums compared to rural regions. Finally, the plan itself—whether it’s accident-only, accident and illness, or includes extras like routine care—determines how much you’ll pay. Higher deductibles and lower reimbursement rates (say, 70% versus 90%) can lower your monthly cost, but you’ll pay more out of pocket when you file a claim. So, why get dog insurance in the first place? The main reason is financial protection against unexpected veterinary expenses. Dogs can rack up big bills fast (as we all know it 🤣)Insurance helps spread that risk, turning a potential budget-busting event into a manageable monthly payment. It also gives peace of mind, letting you focus on your dog’s health rather than your bank account during a crisis.I pay around $4500 for dog insurance a year. For me that insane. Jax’s portion of that is around $2400 which is understandable due to his age. Now when my dog needs MRI (cost around $5k-$10k) the same insurance - who happily takes my money every month is only covering around $1000 of that bill. Really battling between should all them just come off from insurance (except for Jax probably) and should I use credit card/Care Credit etc. But then again, I am not confident to take them off the insurance 🤪Do you have pet insurance? From what company? ... See MoreSee Less

White Swiss Shepherds were made for winter—blending into the snow, ruling the drifts, and loving every frosty second 🖤Winter is where they truly shine—their snowy coats blend into the landscape as they bound through drifts, chase swirling flakes, and revel in the crisp, cold air. Built for the chill, these majestic pups turn every snowfall into a playground, leaving paw prints and pure joy behind. ❄️🐾However, we already thought the snow season was gone for this spring but apparently not when looking at the weather forecast….. Seems to be mix of rain & snow for weeks again 🤦🏻‍♀️ ... See MoreSee Less

I wish everyone would have a mentor like I do ❤️We have trialed together, she has saved my puppies life & there isn’t another person that I would trust my dogs more. Her expertise, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering support have significantly contributed to my development as a dog trainer & a human being. I deeply appreciate the time and dedication that she has invested in me, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to learn from someone of her caliber.I find myself at a loss for words sufficient enough to convey the depth of my gratitude for the extraordinary mentorship she has so generously provided. Her wisdom, kindness, and unshakable belief in me have been a guiding light through some of my most uncertain moments.I feel privileged to have a mentor who gives so selflessly, and it moves me to think of how rare and remarkable her support has been. The countless hours she dedicated to me stand as a testament to her extraordinary commitment. Those hours—spent listening intently as I wrestled with decisions, offering thoughtful insights drawn from her own experience, and encouraging me to push past my doubts—have built a foundation I lean on every day. I often find myself reflecting on the generosity of that time, given so freely, and it humbles me to think of the care behind each moment shared. Her influence reaches far beyond the lessons taught; it’s woven into who I am and who I aspire to be. She has not only guided me toward success but lit a spark in me to one day extend the same support to others.Thank you for being the mentor I will forever admire and appreciate ❤️ ...
