Our dogs have undergone extensive health testing (FCI/OFA) and we are happy to explain and or/discuss anything related health testing and breed issues.
Jax (Secret Moonshine Be My Romeo) has FCI results because was born in Finland.
Tara (Mountain Wolves Olympia Star) and Opie (Ride My Charming Son OFFK) has OFA results. Tara is not yet 2 years old so her results here are all prelims.
Opie has gone through the most health testing as he is our future stud dog and his sport (IGP) requires lot physically.
All of our dogs have their spine x-rayed, and this will be done with future puppies as well. Most breeders don’t include the spine in their health testing which I am hoping will change in the future. There is not lot of data or research within this breed or in general how the spine results will affect the dogs life and our kennel is hoping to change that at least with our own dogs and puppies.
Our puppy buyers will have to agreed to get x-rays done when their puppy reach 2 years and our kennel will pay for the spine certificate (and fees) and we will submit it to the specialists in Finland.
