I never thought that this year would as crazy that it has been and I have been lacking on training side big time. Couple of months ago I made the decision not to continue training protection with Opie and it has been the best decision.

He could absolutely pass the IGP1 protection part but that would mean training, training and more training and I personally don't feel like doing that.

Also, now having 5 dogs has made me realize that there aren’t enough hours in the day to train all the dogs. We are finishing up some obedience things and by spring, we are hopeful to get trialing.

Obedience is something that this boy likes and is always so happy to perform ❤️

It seems I haven’t been posting for months 😁

The same old story that life is too busy but all of our puppies are in their forever homes (exception June who was returned to us) so I figured I would share some of their journey as they are getting older and bigger!

Orange collar 🧡 June
- I always said June was the best behaved puppy of the litter because she spent several months in board & train with @gsd_workingk9_sadie June has now returned to us and we are looking to place her to new forever home. She would benefit from a small family and being only dog however she was raised with malinois & german shepherds so she gets along with other dogs fine 😂
Hot Pink collar 🩷 Lyla/Banshee
- Enjoys her new family and lives close to us
Dark Green 💚 Hans Gruber
- One of the smartest puppies of the litter. He has completed first required training and is now learning new skills towards his service dog tasks
Black 🖤 Bobby
- Has amazing family (like they all do!) and enjoys his farm life here in NH
Gray 🤍 Cloud
- I couldn’t be more happy about the home where this puppy ended up, his family is amazing and they train so many fun things! We want to come visit Connecticut!
Light Blue 🩵 Lhotse
- Probably the most handsome of the litter and seems to be enjoying his lake and beach life & doesn’t mind the cool boat rides! It seems this puppy is living the best life 💕
Light Pink 💖 Aurora
- First one to get puppy titles and is such a cute puppy and was perfect fit for this family ❣️
Dark Blue 💙 Mojo
- Future show superstar ⭐️ HIGH hopes for this puppy in show & trials. His human is super good trainer and I am looking forward to see how far they can go!
Light Green 💚 Mozzie
- Loves his new life in California. I wanted to keep him because he is absolutely copy of Jax & Opie but when the right person came along I ended selling him and he has become the greatest young dog
Yellow 💛 Valor
- Has the most amazing human who takes good care of him with his condition and I couldn’t ask for better mom for this little fighter puppy that he has 💕
Red ❤️ Wolffie
- Loves his amazing family life in Massachusetts. Always so happy watching the updates from their family life 💕

Sometimes it’s super stressful and sometimes it’s perfect 🩷

4 dogs under 4 years old is not everyone’s cup of tea for sure 😂

My hope is that June will find her new family soon 🥰

Although she is one of the most easiest puppies 🐶 there is so she is welcomed to stay as long as needed and the right family comes along 😊

I will need to get orange harness for all though because it’s the hunting season.

Now when the puppies are gone - maybe might time to focus on our work with Opie.

I am really trying to figure out what would be our goals for the future.

Our goal was to train for IGP1 but honestly I don’t like protection that much 😂

And with him, we would need to be doing protection 24/7 for 1-2 years that he would be ready 😅

And I don’t think I am willing to do that.

I learned lots from Lars Lentz 3-day seminar about all things tracking (I think I got a headache from all the information 😂). Btw, many times the best trainers are not the best to teach about what they know & do but that was definitely not the case. He was able to bring the information with such a cool way that even beginner like me understood or at least I think I did 🤭

He is also a super funny dude so if anyone is interested in tracking, try to get to his seminars 🤩

I think we might focus on obedience & tracking with Opie and forget about protection completely.

(We haven’t train for protection much at all anyway).

He is such a fun dog to train with, just have to find our sport 💚
