Ms. Ally almost 9 months 💕 She is super fun to train with - she is just too smart for her own good sometimes 🤣

Her intelligence can make her sometimes think for herself. If she doesn’t see the point of a command or get distracted by something more interesting, she might ignore me, testing my patience during training and in life.

She. Is. So. Funny. Though.

She would just stand here and wait for the toy to come to her mouth 😂 Rather than chasing it.

Don’t get me wrong- she loves chasing things.

She also sometimes outsmart herself, overanalyzing situations. Like she might hesitate in simple tasks because she is anticipating something more complex, which can slow down the training process.

What we do like - is that when she does take a grip, she holds it nicely & when offered - she keeps doing re-grips with the trainer 🖤

I wish everyone would have a mentor like I do ❤️

We have trialed together, she has saved my puppies life & there isn’t another person that I would trust my dogs more.

Her expertise, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering support have significantly contributed to my development as a dog trainer & a human being. I deeply appreciate the time and dedication that she has invested in me, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to learn from someone of her caliber.

I find myself at a loss for words sufficient enough to convey the depth of my gratitude for the extraordinary mentorship she has so generously provided. Her wisdom, kindness, and unshakable belief in me have been a guiding light through some of my most uncertain moments.

I feel privileged to have a mentor who gives so selflessly, and it moves me to think of how rare and remarkable her support has been.

The countless hours she dedicated to me stand as a testament to her extraordinary commitment. Those hours—spent listening intently as I wrestled with decisions, offering thoughtful insights drawn from her own experience, and encouraging me to push past my doubts—have built a foundation I lean on every day. I often find myself reflecting on the generosity of that time, given so freely, and it humbles me to think of the care behind each moment shared. Her influence reaches far beyond the lessons taught; it’s woven into who I am and who I aspire to be. She has not only guided me toward success but lit a spark in me to one day extend the same support to others.

Opie 💚

We tried so hard to get ready for the trial season.

Unfortunately, due to Opie’s possible injury this trial season is canceled for us.

So upsetting that we can’t trial this spring 😭

But of course it’s more important to get Opie better ❤️‍🩹

No jumps, running, chasing, playing with ball for a while for him which is going to be soooooo difficult.

He is basically outside dog especially during spring & summer time and now he is stuck with us inside the house when the other dogs are enjoying the yard time.

We both are disappointed ☹️

He LOVES the outdoors life and it’s going to be tough on all of us.

Maybe this would be a great time to focus on tracking and maybe get a new title in tracking this fall.

If only I wouldn’t be so lazy with tracking 🤪

Maybe we could do a nose work class somewhere!?

Well, at least he is handsome 😍

If he feels better, I am planning on shows May & July for him.

But for now we are headed back to the vet for some X-rays & hopefully more answers for my best boy 💚

I am refusing to believe that the winter is over ✋

Why is time going by so fast 😭

Now the season is changing and that means mud on top of mud + rain 🌧️ more than needed.

Oh and we can forget any WHITE dogs for the next months because of the MUD

At least Maine treated as well last month when there was still snow on the ground 💙

We shall do some more day trips to Maine & Vermont this year because these places can be stunning 😍

I was looking for spring time and getting to some local or non-local shows but it seems that there isn’t any interesting judges for conformation 🤣

Unless I want to drive like 2 days (which I don’t)

Our regular show site changed from Massachusetts and not sure what the new site looks like. Right now there are only couple of shows posted as last year I feel like they had show every or every other weekend 😅

Maybe there is more to come?

I am considering Eastern Classic in October- I believe it’s in Pennsylvania? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I like Virginia & North Carolina shows but they are so far away that always have to take one week off from work to attend 🤪

You are my best friend, protector, hiking buddy & soulmate.

I am FOREVER grateful that life has bring us together and that you are the perfect one for me.

I am so blessed to see your puppies & grand puppies out in the world 🌍 and they are making you and me so proud 🥹

One of the things I love about you is also the thing people love about your offsprings and that’s temperament- sometimes untamed but still the most powerful asset that you have 💥

When I look back (and can’t believe you are 11 years old today), the most happiest that you have been - is really anytime we are together 💕

I will always choose you, Jax over anyone. (This was something I also told my husband before we married 😂). I said to him - Jax will always come first and if there’s ever time I would have to choose between you two - it would always be Jax. And he replied: “Yes, I know.” 😅

I hope you would stop chasing the delivery man and let them be.
